Child Safety & Content Policy
Effective Date: April 20, 2026
Our Commitment to Safety
Memoria is committed to providing a safe environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or any harmful content involving minors.
Reporting Harmful Content
Users can report any inappropriate content directly within the app using the report button available on every memory and profile. Reported content is reviewed promptly and removed immediately if it violates our policies. Accounts that repeatedly violate our standards are suspended or permanently banned.
You can also report concerns directly to us by email at hello@memorias.in.
Child Safety Standards (CSAE)
We actively monitor and take action against any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. This includes but is not limited to: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming behaviour, or any content that depicts minors in a harmful or sexualised manner.
Any such content discovered on our platform is immediately removed and reported to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act and POCSO Act in India.
Legal Compliance
We comply with all applicable child safety laws and cooperate fully with legal authorities when required. This includes compliance with the IT Act 2000, POCSO Act 2012, and any applicable international standards for child protection.
Abuse Prevention
Memoria is a private, invite-only memory sharing platform. Access to circles and shared memories is restricted to trusted contacts approved by the circle creator. This design inherently limits the risk of exposure to harmful strangers.
We continuously review and improve our platform to detect and prevent abusive behaviour before it causes harm.
